Hi Everyone!Â
I just want to fill you in on my results in the Norams in Lake Louise. I stayed for the Norams after the World Cup. It dumped almost two feet! I felt comfortable and confident going into the races. I won the first day of racing and was 4th (got the wooden spoon) on the second day. I am really excited about winning on the first day. I haven’t won a downhill race since I broke my leg in 2003. However, I still feel like I have a lot to improve on in my downhill skiing and it will just get better and faster as the season rolls along. Here are a few pictures from the Norams.

I also wanted to let you know about my teammate Leanne Smith. She was top 30 in the Super G and Downhill at Lake Louise. It was her first World Cup. It’s not easy to score World Cup points the first time you are in a World Cup. She is skiing fast!
I will keep you updated on my upcoming races which are in Europe. I hope all of you are having a great holiday season and having fun outside!
