I just want to fill you in on my results in the Norams in Lake Louise. I stayed for the Norams after the World Cup. It dumped almost two feet! I felt comfortable and confident going into the races. I won the first day of racing and was 4th (got the wooden spoon) on the second day. I am really excited about winning on the first day. I haven’t won a downhill race since I broke my leg in 2003. However, I still feel like I have a lot to improve on in my downhill skiing and it will just get better and faster as the season rolls along. Here are a few pictures from the Norams.

Chelsea (she won the second race, go Chels!) and I in cold Lake Louise.
I also wanted to let you know about my teammate Leanne Smith. She was top 30 in the Super G and Downhill at Lake Louise. It was her first World Cup. It’s not easy to score World Cup points the first time you are in a World Cup. She is skiing fast!
I will keep you updated on my upcoming races which are in Europe. I hope all of you are having a great holiday season and having fun outside!

“Racing is the ultimate. Just think, when you get in the start, it’s all you. And the best part is no one is in your way, so you can go as fast as you want.” -Daron Rahlves
